The M-tuned BMW X6 is already special, but apparently not special enough for some Bimmer enthusiasts. The performance-car division of the German automaker has come up with this, the BMW X6 M Design Edition, said to be limited to just 100 units (probably already fewer by a couple dozen as you finish reading this sentence).
And what\'s so special about this X6?
Well, apart from the obvious M decals, this SUV boasts full Merino leather seats, a bicolor instrument panel (with Mugello Red stitching), 21-inch M Performance light-alloy wheels, a black kidney grille, black side mirror caps, carbon M Performance front splitter and rear spoiler, a black rear diffuser, and a model-specific \"1/100\" badge.
Exterior colors to choose from are Alpine White (seen here), Sapphire Black and Melbourne Red Metallic.
The same engine found on the standard X6 M serves under the hood of this Design Edition: a 4.4-liter M TwinPower Turbo eight-cylinder gasoline that produces 555hp and 680Nm. This clearly isn\'t a case of \"all show and no go.\" The standard X6 M\'s other mechanical components have also been retained.
Who wants to reserve a unit?
