A week ago, we featured the Chevrolet Colorado Tracker on our list of the best vehicles for conquering floods. The pickup's 880mm water-fording depth, robust power and rugged good looks left us impressed. Now, Chevrolet Philippines is already offering a new Tracker variant in celebration of its truck month: Say hello to the Colorado Tracker Pro.
Though the Tracker Pro shares the same engine with the Tracker, a host of new features and equipment have been added to the vehicle to make it more appealing to more adventurous drivers looking for a more versatile off-roading experience. Tracker Pro customers are now also given the choice between a manual and an automatic six-speed transmission.
The Pro is equipped with a 12,000lb integrated power winch with a recovery equipment package to go along with its 3.5-ton towing and one-ton hauling capacity. A 6,000lb tow hitch with an electrical receiver has also been added to the Pro. Another extra feature of the Pro is the newly installed tire pressure-monitoring system, which is capable of warning drivers if any of the vehicle's tires are underinflated. An all-new dash camera has likewise been mounted on the Pro's rear-view mirror, allowing continuous recording of the vehicle's off-road adventures.
With the Tracker Pro announcement came an updated price list for the Colorado range.
