Though the V8 sitting very prettily in the back of the Ferrari F8 Tributo has been considered the finest engine of the past two decades, one tuner reckons it’s got more to give.

Specifically, 838hp and 922Nm  of torque. Sizeable increases over the ‘standard’ F8’s 710bhp/770Nm. Welcome to Keyvany’s tuned V8, and the bodykit it’s clothed in.

Engine first. The 3.9-liter twin-turbo V8 – again, the best engine of the past 20 years, according to the International Engine of the Year jurors – is treated to a new ‘valve-controlled’ high-performance exhaust system allied to a reprogrammed ECU liberating that additional 128hp and 152Nm.

Keyvany reckons its version can get to 100 km/h one tenth of a second quicker than Maranello’s own (2.8s vs 2.9s), while the top speed now sits at 351 km/h – a full 11 km/h quicker than a stock F8.

It’s all made in-house, and the aim was to create a “racy two-seater with increased downforce on the front and rear”.
