Honda Cars Philippines (HCPI) has an upgrade those looking for a little extra security under the new normal might be interested in.
A new PM (particulate matter) 2.5 cabin air filter is now being offered by the Japanese car manufacturer, which it says captures 90-99% of dust particles, volcanic ash, mold spores, and diesel and cigarette smoke. The result, the company says, is a cleaner and safer drive free of most pollutants, and more efficient air circulation inside the vehicle.
The new PM 2.5 air filter carries a P859 price tag, though the installation and labor cost will depend on the dealership you visit. HCPI is also reminding motorists to not to forget to replace their cars’ air filter after one year of use.
The upgrade is timely, especially considering the country’s ongoing health crisis and the eruption of Taal Volcano earlier this year. At the very least, it should serve as an extra layer of protection from unwanted particles possible floating around inside your car’s cabin. Interested?
