Welcome to our first glimpse of the updated Hyundai i30N hot hatch, with its more aggressive grille and new “V-shaped integrated daytime running lights.”
Well, it’s not actually the new i30N. This sketch reveals what the stock i30 will look like with its N Line styling pack. But given how closely the N and the N Line currently resemble each other, it’s safe to assume that the next i30N will look a lot like this. Just with baby blue paint and red detailing.
Those new DRLs are the big change visible here—we’ve added a picture of the current i30N above to show just how unintegrated its DRLs are—but we’re promised many more changes by the time the finished thing is declothed at the 2020 Geneva International Motor Show.
Newly digital dials. A larger media screen. A wealth of fresh alloy wheel designs. It’s all typical facelift fare, but of a car we really quite like. More from Geneva in early March.
