Think Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) was done stuffing V8 engines into unlikely rides with the Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat? Think again.

Jeep recently took to Facebook to share a teaser image for a new Wrangler, or perhaps Gladiator (which, by the way, was only recently launched in the Philippines), sporting a massive hood scoop noticeably bearing the number ‘392.’ Look:

While there’s been no official word regarding what those numerals stand for, the carmaker is likely hinting at a vehicle powered a 392 Hemi V8 engine. In a car like the Dodge Charger, this naturally aspirated mill produces up to 485hp and 644Nm of torque.

There’s currently no clear indication as to whether the model being teased is a V8-powered Wrangler or Gladiator—not enough of the vehicle has been shown, and both are pretty much identical save for the rear. There have been reports, though, that Jeep is working on a souped-up version of its pickup truck capable of competing with the likes of Ford’s Raptors. Could this be it? (Also, ICYMI, the diesel-powered Gladiator has just been launched in the US.)

Jeep didn’t include a caption—let alone a release date or specs—or put out a release on its press site, so that’s about it as far as info about this vehicle is concerned. What other cars in the FCA lineup would you like to see packing a V8 engine?
