Last week, Kia revealed that it was launching an all-new MPV at the 2014 New York Auto Show. The only problem was that the Korean carmaker failed to disclose what model this would effectively replace.
Well, Kia has finally revealed what the MPV is and it's the all-new Sedona (or Carnival, as it is known in our market).
According to Kia, the all-new Sedona rides on an all-new chassis and will be powered by a 3.3-liter gasoline direct-injected (GDI) V6 engine. It also comes with the carmaker's next-generation UVO infotainment and telematics system.
"With several new eServices features, the 2015 Sedona is designed to be the perfect companion for any lifestyle and to accommodate any adventure on the road," Kia said in a statement.
Judging by the vehicle's lines, it is very masculine, which is how Ginia Domingo, president of Kia's Philippine-market distributor Columbian Autocar Corporation, described the next-generation Carnival a year ago during the launch of the Carens.
