Are you a fan of the mini SUV? You know, models like the Toyota Rush and the Honda BR-V. If your answer is yes, you might want to pay attention to Mitsubishi next week, because the Japanese car manufacturer is revealing a segment entry of its own in Indonesia.
Set to be revealed in Jakarta on November 12, Mitsubishi’s unnamed “crossover MPV” supposedly offers a well-equipped package featuring a nice amount of interior space and a good time behind the wheel—about as vague a description a carmaker can give, but hey, this is still a teaser, after all.
Not much else has been made known about the vehicle—no specs, features, or interior images—but by the looks of it, the model will carry an appearance similar to those of more modern Mitsubishi offerings like the Eclipse Cross and the Xpander. Actually, the teaser image suggests its design will be a mix of the two, with the company’s signature Dynamic Shield face and a raised ride height.
Stay tuned to our website for the vehicle’s official reveal next week. Frankly, we wouldn’t be surprised if Mitsubishi Motors Philippines decides to bring this thing into our market to take on the likes of the BR-V and the Rush. What do you think?
