A little over three years. That’s how long it took for all the Pagani Huayra Roadsters ever made to make their way to their owners. Sounds like a relatively sluggish pace, until you take into account three things.
First, only 100 of these babies were ever built, making it one of the most exclusive vehicles on the face of the planet. Second, each unit carries a whopping £2.3 million (more than P147 million) price tag. Again, not much of a surprise considering this model’s rarity. And finally, it packs a 6.0-liter AMG twin-turbo V12 capable of a mind-bending 753hp and 1,000Nm of torque.
Expensive, rare, and ridiculously fast—the Pagani Huayra Roadster is the textbook definition of a hypercar. That said, every hypercar needs a proper send-off. In this case, unit 100 of 100 was delivered to its owner wearing arguably the roadster’s most unique finish yet: exposed carbon fiber.
“Initially, I wanted to get the Huayra Coupe. It was the only version available, but at the end of the day I just couldn’t get it,” a disembodied voice who we assume is the lucky owner of unit 100 shares in the video.
“When the roadster was launched, I knew I had to have that. For the exterior, I’ve always wanted to have exposed carbon fiber. I thought that Horacio’s [Pagani] work with carbon fiber is second to none, really. When I was shown the Mamba Black exposed carbon fiber, that’s when I knew I wanted this. It’s far richer in depth and it really does look considerably different from the normal carbon fiber.”
Capping off the whole look is a contrasting interior with a popping matte black carbon fiber and yellow color scheme. There’s absolutely no way you’ll miss this if it passes by.
Well, congratulations to owner number 100. You have one hell of a ride on your hands. Also, you’ve managed to kill any hope anyone has of ever owning one these hypercars brand-new.
Given the money, would you spend a small fortune on a car like the Pagani Huayra Roadster?
