Sebastian Vettel receives special-edition Infiniti FX named after him

Infiniti made good on the promise it made at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show regarding the limited production of the FX Sebastian Vettel Edition. On July 2, on the eve of Vettel\'s 26th birthday, Infiniti gifted the three-time Formula 1 champion the very first one of the 150 units that will be made.

According to Infiniti, the FX Vettel Edition is the most powerful model in its lineup. After its appearance in Geneva, Vettel himself drove the car at the 2012 Goodwood Festival of Speed.

Vettel\'s involvement in the project marked the start of his increasing role in the development of Infiniti road cars, leading to his appointment as the \"director of performance\" of Nissan\'s luxury brand in April 2013.

\"I\'m proud to now own the Infiniti that I helped design,\" said Vettel. \"It has great performance and responsive handling, and it fits my daily life perfectly. The FX Vettel Edition is great fun to drive, and I like that it is totally unique. I am sure many other Infiniti owners will feel the same way.\"
