Fuji Heavy Industries, the maker of Subaru automobiles, has revealed the Levorg production prototype at the ongoing Tokyo Motor Show and confirmed that the wagon will go on sale in 2014.
According to FHI, the Levorg is \"the fruit of Subaru\'s commitment which not only offers driving enjoyment but also practical touring abilities that ensure a stress-free drive even in long distances.\"
The Levorg will be equipped with one of two horizontally opposed direct-injection turbo engines, in either a newly developed 1.6-liter guise that \"offers both brisk driving pleasure and superb fuel performance of 17.4km/L,\" or a 2.0-liter model that produces 296hp and 400Nm while achieving 13.2km/L.
\"Over the years, Subaru has accumulated extensive knowledge on producing automobiles that provide \"driving enjoyment and peace of mind,\" FHI said in a statement. \"All of it was poured into the creation of the Levorg while paying utmost attention to the slightest detail and never losing sight of the essence.\"
The production-model Levorg is scheduled to be launched in the first half of next year, with preorders to be accepted from January 4, 2014. Who\'s ordering?
