Lexus used to be known for its conservative and smooth-flowing lines. And yes, to some extent, it is still the case. But for those who are close followers of the Japanese luxury marque, they know things are changing—and for the bolder.
It began with cars like the IS, the LFA, and the NX. Then came the recently launched LC coupe. Each of these models showcased Lexus in a more youthful and expressive light. The trademark spindle grille that now adorns all the models is already an indication of how aggressive the brand wants to be seen.
At this year’s upcoming Paris Motor Show, Lexus will take its boldest step yet with the world premiere of the UX Concept. A close look at this edgy stunner reveals a Lexus filled with creases, curves, and lines that convey motion and vigor. Apart from this, the Toyota luxury division says that the UX Concept will combine “traditional craftsmanship with high-tech manufacturing techniques”.
Besides the UX concept, the Paris Motor Show will feature the restyled IS, the NX Sport Edition, and the LC coupe. The Lexus showcase will be a tour de force for anyone who wants to see what’s in store in the coming years.
