Autostrada Motore, the official importer and distributor of Ferrari in the Philippines, is on a roll. Just two months after it officially opened its showroom in Bonifacio Global City and unveiled the 458 Italia, it has now also brought in the Italian carmaker's first four-wheel-drive car in the FF.

"The Ferrari FF breaks free from the traditional grand-tourer theme, but as the first Ferrari with four-wheel drive, it blends extreme performance with the adaptability and usability of a genuine grand tourer," said Autostrada Motore chairman and president Wellington Soong.

If you're not already aware of the FF and just how significant it is for Ferrari, let's break down some of its most important details:

  • Ferrari's exclusive and patented 4RM four-wheel drive system weighs 50 percent less than a conventional four-wheel drive system, giving it a perfect weight distribution (53 percent of its gross weight lies over the rear axle).
  • Completely integrated with the car's electronic dynamic control systems, the four-wheel-drive technology delivers record levels of performance on all terrains and in all conditions via a continuous and intelligent predictive torque distribution to all four wheels.
  • The FF is also equipped with the latest magnetorheological damping system as well as the most recent development in carbon-ceramic brakes from Brembo.
  • The FF gets its power from a 6.3-liter V12 engine that, mated to its seven-speed, dual-clutch gearbox, gives it a zero-to-100kph sprint time of 3.7 seconds.
  • It can accommodate four people and their luggage, thanks to the 450-liter capacity of its boot. With the rear seats folded down, its cargo-carrying capability increases to 800 liters.
  • The FF is an acronym for "Ferrari Four," with 'four' denoting its number of seats and its four-wheel-drive orientation, which technically means the car's name in full is Ferrari Ferrari Four.

The FF's arrival comes a year after its official Asia-Pacific launch at the Shanghai Auto Show in April 2011. Now, how much do you think the Ferrari FF should be priced in our market? Take the poll.
