If you're hitting the beach or the shopping areas in Subic this weekend, you might as well check out the first-ever Subic Bay Auto Show at the SBMA Boardwalk area.
Over 60 cars are expected to join the event today coming from way up north like Baguio to as far south as Parañaque. It promises to be a spectacle that's not to be missed--especially when one of its main attraction is a bikini car wash.
Of course, there's also the requisite search for cars which would earn titles like Best of Show, Best in Lighting Effects, and Lowest Car given to the most deserving vehicle.
A fun run to Subic is also inevitable as numerous car clubs like the Subaru Club of the Philippines, Honda Club of Pampanga and Club ZZ, the local Toyota Corolla Altis club, have also signed up to join the event.
Local dealers from Isuzu, BMW and Ford will also be there to show off their products to those who are looking to get a brand-new car this summer.
Registration to join the event starts at 10a.m. on April 10 with the registration fees at P1,500 for the heavily-modified Pro category and P1,000 for the lightly-modded Street category.
The event opens up to the public at 2 p.m. and will last all afternoon and night with after-party performances from Miguel Escueta, Kris Lawrence and new R&B artist Jazze. A P50 entrance fee will be charged to get inside the venue but that's already inclusive of either a free San Miguel Beer or a Coca-Cola product.
