Ford Group Philippines will boost its presence in Luzon with the opening of a new dealership at the Subic Bay Freeport by the end of the year.
Ford Subic will rise on a 1,175-square meter lot at the corner of Argonaut Road and J.P. Rizal Highway in the Subic Bay Freeport. Its showroom will have space for five vehicles, while its service area will have eight bays. The building also has provision for a second level to double the number of service bays in the future.
"Ford Subic is part of our expansion program to service the growing requirements of customers in the western part of Luzon. We are certainly proud to be part of over 1,000 locators in Subic who will help contribute to the business and economic growth in the area," said Levy Laus, chairman and founder of Laus Auto Group (LAG).
The expansion brings LAG's Ford dealership count to five, with the other branches located in Libis, Quezon City; Cabanatuan, Nueva Ecija; Dagupan, Pangasinan; and San Fernando, Pampanga.
"We are grateful for the support of our partners like the Laus Auto Group for making available to our consumers Ford's high quality and fuel efficient vehicles. We appreciate their invaluable contribution to the continued growth of Ford's operations in the Philippines," Ford Group Philippines president Richard Baker said.
The LAG expansion gives Ford the edge of being the first carmaker to open a dealership inside the Subic economic zone.
