Last March, Suzuki hinted at what the Swift Sport would look like on the Swift nameplate's all-new platform when it showed off the Swift S-Concept at the 2011 Geneva International Motor Show last March. Now, the Japanese carmaker has finally shown what the production Swift Sport actually looks like.
Set to make its debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show, Suzuki claims the all-new Swift Sport has an aggressive yet dignified exterior look thanks to its low-slung form, which gives it a sense of stability and tension, and its big front grille which evokes a sporty performance feel.
Powering the Swift Sport is a high-power, low-fuel-consumption 1.6-liter engine that was developed exclusively for it. Mated to this is also a specially developed six-speed manual transmission, giving the Swift Sport the kind of performance that's both exciting yet environmentally responsible. As if the regular Swift's handling wasn't good enough already, the Swift Sport receives internal rebound springs-equipped struts and an exclusive rear suspension design to give the car superior cornering stability and brisker, more responsive handling.
You think Suzuki Philippines should bring this in, even if only in limited numbers?
