Bosch Philippines is eyeing a double-digit growth for its automotive aftermarket business in 2013, following the 11% growth it registered in 2012.
What Bosch Philippines expects to buoy its sales for 2013 is its recent opening of its first business hub outside Metro Manila. Located in Cebu, the 225sqm facility houses a showroom for Bosch\'s extensive line of products. It also serves as a service center for its power tools as well as a training center for its dealers.
Also helping to boost the sales of Bosch\'s automotive aftermarket division is the continuing expansion of its car service workshops, which now number at 26 on top of two diesel centers and eight diesel service workshops it has set up nationwide, \"all of which offer specialized cross-brand customer service for automotive systems and products.\"
\"We\'re only halfway through the year so it\'s still too soon to tell what our year-end figures will be,\" said Bosch Philippines managing director Joseph Hong. \"What we do know is that in every line of business we\'re in, we\'re always one of the top two brands.\"
Together with the power tools division, another one of the company\'s strongest-performing divisions, Bosch Philippines achieved a strong 30% overall growth for 2012.
