As quarantine restrictions ease up across the Philippines, several businesses are slowly restarting and some modes of public transport have resumed operations as the country transitions into the new normal. This also means that more and more cars are starting to hit the road once again.

Caltex, for its part, is expanding its retail network further amid this transition by opening new gas stations across the country. This is a move that the company said is part of its efforts to help address the needs of those living in remote and far-flung communities. These locations are also what Caltex has identified as areas vital to the country’s food supply chain.

A total of eight new Caltex stations were opened nationwide—six in Luzon, the other two in Visayas. A station each was opened in the municipalities of Quezon in Isabela and Guagua in Pampanga, as well as in Legazpi City, Albay, and Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro. The other two stations in the region were opened in El Nido, Palawan. Meanwhile, the two new stations in the Visayas islands were located in Leyte.
