During the local launch of the Ferrari Portofino, it was revealed that Dennis Uy has invested in Autostrada Motore, the official distributor of Ferrari in the Philippines.
For those who aren’t familiar with the name, Dennis Uy is a Davao-based entrepreneur who has built a business empire worth billions. Starting with oil retail, he has since built up his business empire to include a logistics company, a convenience-store chain, and a hospitality management school. Now, he has a Prancing Horse to add to his portfolio.
We got to chat with Autostrada Motore executive director Marc Soong about this new partnership, and he had this to share: “We are announcing the birth of a strategic power alliance to bring Ferrari to the next level in the Philippines. This is one of the best things to ever happen to the brand, so we are very, very happy. Our vision is to be the apex of Italian automotive sporting luxury, and with this new development, we are going to get there.”
“We’ve cared for this brand for a long time,” Soong added. “We’ve been in the industry for quite some time, and we’ve done everything with passion. That’s why Autostrada Motore is a perfect fit with Ferrari. And this new deal is also the start of a great and powerful alliance.”
Congratulations, Autostrada Motore!
