Honda Cars Philippines is now taking steps to resume operations under the new normal.
The Japanese car manufacturer resumed dealer sales and after-sales operations in areas under general community quarantine (GCQ) today, May 4, implementing measures to ensure customers can shop for cars in as safe a manner as possible.
Some of the steps the company is taking include disinfecting its facilities and scanning visitors’ body temperatures (individuals with a temperature above 38 degrees Celsius will be refused entry). Customers must also wear a face mask when visiting Honda dealerships, and will be asked to sanitize their hands before entering and exiting the premises. Dealer associates, meanwhile, are now being required to wear personal protective equipment.
Showrooms, reception areas, customer lounges, and other areas inside Honda dealerships will also observe social distancing, meaning people must maintain a one-meter distance from one another. And finally, customers who wish to have vehicles serviced must schedule appointments in advance.
As of this writing, Metro Manila is scheduled to shift from enhanced community quarantine to GCQ on May 16, 2020. Will you be visiting a Honda dealership once one opens near you? Let us know in the comments.
