Carmakers have drastically changed how they do business throughout this pandemic, specifically with their dealer operations. And as part of their efforts to encourage customers to reduce showroom visits, some brands have even started opening virtual dealerships.
The latest company to do so is Honda Cars Philippines (HCPI), whose ‘VIRTUAL@Honda’ online dealership recently went live. By clicking on the ‘Virtual Showroom’ tab on Honda’s website, customers will be directed to a page where they can access the three main parts of the digital facility: Virtual Showroom, Shopping Tools, and After-Sales.
The Virtual Showroom lets customers view the vehicles in Honda’s local lineup. A 360-degree view of both the interior and the exterior of any selected vehicle is available, and lists of suggested retail prices, colors, and variants are accessible as well.
The Shopping Tools section then enables customers to chat with their preferred dealerships, compare different Honda models, and download brochures. Also available is a loan calculator through which customers can get estimated quotations. What’s more, this section allows clients to apply for auto loans, schedule test drives, or request for official quotations. They can also browse the list of dealerships with available stocks of their selected vehicle, too.
Lastly, the After-Sales function gives customers an easier way to schedule appointments for vehicle servicing and maintenance. It also provides valuable information such as guides for service costs and for parts checking and replacement, available programs and promos, and service FAQs.
“Honda’s top priority remains to be the safety of our customers,” said HCPI president Masahiko Nakamura. “Through VIRTUAL@Honda, we aim to provide a more convenient car purchase journey for our customers right at the comfort and safety of their homes.”
