Hyundai PH deploys its vehicles to assist health workers

The Korean carmaker has already deployed several vehicles in Batangas and Laguna

Hyundai Asia Resources, Inc. (HARI), through the HARI Foundation, Inc. (HFI) has rolled out its BIYAHEnihan program to provide much-needed transport during this fight against the COVID-19 outbreak.

Under HARI’s #HyundaiSAGIP flagship disaster relief program, the carmaker will be able to help transport healthcare workers and medical supplies to the St. Francis Cabrini Medical Center in Sto. Tomas, Batangas, and to the Dr. JP Rizal Memorial District Hospital in Calamba, Laguna. Hyundai has already deployed a Grand Starex, a County Bus, and an HD65 as of this writing.

In addition, HARI and HFI have also provided 2,500 pieces of personal protective equipment to the frontline healthcare workers at the University of the Philippines-Philippine General Hospital, one of the country’s official COVID-19 referral centers.

“We hope that this contribution will sustain and inspire our heroic frontliners in Southern Luzon. HARI will continue to fill in the gaps as we continue our collective battle to flatten the curve,” said HARI president and CEO Ma. Fe Perez-Agudo.
