The government has continuously rolled out its Public Utility Vehicle Modernization Program (PUVMP) across the country these past several months, and Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) is one manufacturer that has consistently shown its support for the initiatives.

Following its deployment of several modern PUVs during the previous legs of the Modern PUV Caravan of the Department of Transportation (DOTr) and the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB), IPC  has turned over yet another batch of its new units, this time a bit closer to the metro in the City of Valenzuela. Transport service cooperative Metroval TSC was the recipient of Isuzu’s 17 new modern PUVs.

“We chose Isuzu because we believe in the product that provides durability and at the same time fuel efficiency,” said Metroval TSC chairman Celso Ensila Jr. “As our cooperative grows, we are assured that through the newly acquired Isuzu PUVs, we can promote development of the transport service here in Valenzuela, improve the quality, and safety of the commuters, and serve our mission to the community of Valenzuela.”

These new PUVs are compliant with Philippine National Standards (PNS 2126-2017) and were assembled using the Isuzu QKR77 platform. Each unit packs a GPS and CCTV system,  providing not only safety and security to its passengers but also a comfortable ride. All units also feature Wi-Fi connection for passengers and also accept cashless payments.

Kudos, Isuzu Philippines Corporation!
