Items donated by Ferrari for Yolanda victims auctioned for P650,000

Autostrada Motore, the official distributor of Ferrari cars in the Philippines, has auctioned off two very special items donated by the Italian carmaker for the Yolanda victims. The auction was held during the intimate launch of the F12 Berlinetta on Thursday at the distributor\'s showroom in Bonifacio Global City.

The first item was a pair of authentic gloves worn by Ferrari F1 driver Fernando Alonso. The second one was a limited-edition Ferrari 250 GTO 1:18 scale model from Ferrari chairman Luca di Montezemolo.

According to Autostrada Motore executive director Marc Soong, the gloves fetched P100,000, while the 250 GTO scale model commanded P550,000, for a total of P650,000.
