Lexus has established a good position in the Philippine automotive industry as one of the trusted luxury brands in the market, and over the past decade since its inception, it has already seen its fair share of success. On the international level, the brand is doing a pretty good job as well.
Lexus International has recently announced an increase in its global sales so far in 2019, with a total of 360,045 vehicles sold year-to-date. These numbers are 10% higher compared to the total worldwide sales for the same period in 2018.
The Japanese carmaker saw the biggest jump in percentages in China with 95,000 total units sold for a 36% increase, and in the East Asia region with 18,000 units sold for a 17% improvement. It sold the most units in North America at 149,000, but that figure is only 1% higher than last year’s total for the same period. As for other regions, the company sold 40,000 units in Europe, 32,000 in Japan, and 16,000 in the Middle East.
“We are honored that our vehicles are accepted by many consumers across the world.
