Three new models of Maxxis tires coming to PH this year

Coming by June 2017

At its recent dealer conference in Shanghai, the official distributor of Maxxis tires in the Philippines announced that three new tires to its current lineup will come in by June 2017. This is after North Trend Marketing let its dealers tour the state-of-the art factory and proving ground in Kunshan City, an hour from Shanghai. And although the allocated products distributed in the country are from Maxxiss’ Thailand factory, the tour proved to be a good insight on how tires are made and tested.

The Mecotra ME3 will be a new addition to the global tiremaker’s passenger tire lineup, and just in time for the rainy season, too. It’s made with a nano-silica compound and designed with a three-dimensional sipe for improved rolling resistance and wet-weather performance. Maxxis recommends this for drivers leaning towards comfort on the road.

For those familiar with Maxxis, they'll know about its active participation in the country’s off-road scene. This is good news for people who turn to the brand for their SUV and off-road tire needs. Bravo HP-M3 will be available for SUV drivers. Its center rib is designed with slanted sipes for high-speed stability and better traction, especially during inclement weather. The tire’s grooves have a wide circumference to channel water away from the contact patch for hydroplaning resistance.

RAZR MT-772 will target off-road vehicles and owners who are hungry for muddy terrain. It has deep sculptured center blocks, sidewall armor, and a tread compound to take on off-road excursions and beatings.
