Mazda's Philippine lineup gets a bit of a shake-up this year. Aside from the manual MX-5 RF manual variant and Dark Cherry soft-top we reported about earlier, the Japanese carmaker is also introducing other new variants to its showrooms.
First up, there's the Mazda 2 Premium Series Java Edition, which features a new Titanium Flash color. Later on, a Katana Edition with a Machine Gray finish will also be unveiled. There's also a new Crimson Edition which promises a bolder Soul Red Crystal-laden look.
There's also a new variant of the CX-9 called the Sport Touring. It has the same 2.5-liter turbo Skyactiv engine, but this time with front-wheel drive. That will have a starting price of P2,350,000, which is almost half a million less than the 4x4 CX-9. You do get less toys like Bose audio, sunroof and lane departure warning for the latter.
The good news is that you can check out these new models at Mazda Zoom Fest, which takes place from June 15 to 17, 2018, on Bonifacio High Street. There'll be special raffle prizes up for grabs for those who attend.
“Zoom Fest has been a key touch point for Mazda and our customers over the past five years,” says Steven Tan, Mazda Philippines president and CEO. “We know this weekend is special not only for fathers but for whole families as well and because of that, we always make it a point to come back here every year to showcase our award-winning models and give our customers a feature-filled display and test drive experience.”
