Carmakers have had to make drastic changes in the way they do business amid this COVID-19 crisis, specifically with how things are done at dealerships.

Showrooms and service centers have had to operate at limited capacities, and visitors were no longer allowed to come and go as they pleased without accomplishing routine checks and wearing the necessary protective equipment. On top of that, facilities have to undergo regular sanitation and disinfection as well.

Test drives and new releases, in particular, have become more tedious than ever. Dealers now have to ensure that all vehicles are kept completely clean in order to ensure the safety of their customers.

To adapt to the current situation, Tata Motors has devised an ingenious and seemingly effective way of safely releasing brand-new vehicles to its clients: a ‘safety bubble.’ It’s something that we reckon local brands should consider.

By wrapping brand-new vehicles in this plastic safety bubble, the Indian carmaker can guarantee its customers that the vehicles are kept clean prior to release.
