Toyota staffers worldwide can once again brag to their friends with pride about the company they work for. The Japanese brand, for the third year in a row, has been named as one of the top corporations in Fortune's "World's most admired companies" list.

Fortune's list is a showcase of a company's reputation based on surveys and industry peer ratings from senior executives, directors, and industry analysts. The surveys measure attributes that are considered essential to global success. Toyota ranked as the 34th of the top 50 companies surveyed, beating out other corporate giants like McDonald's and Visa.

"Toyota is proud to be listed once again as among the world’s most admired companies,” said Jim Lentz, Toyota Motor North America CEO. “This recognition honors the commitment of our team to continuous improvement and exceeding customer expectations. Together, we at Toyota are leading the industry in creating the future of mobility and are making a positive difference in the world through safer, greener and more fun driving experiences.”
