We’re halfway through April already which means the extended enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) may soon be lifted across Luzon. We still can’t say, though, whether or not the ECQ will be yet again extended come end of the month.
Regardless, Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) is already making the necessary preparations for when its dealerships are back in business. In addition to the disinfection of all its facilities, the carmaker has also laid down guidelines that both its employees and customers will follow once operations resume.
In its latest advisory, TMP said that all Toyota dealers will strictly implement safety measures once they reopen. There will be mandatory temperature checks at all dealership entrances, and anyone with a body temperature higher than 37.3 degrees Celsius will be refused entry.
Moreover, there will only be a limited number of customers who will be allowed inside dealerships at a time so that social distancing may be properly observed. TMP has also assured that all its facilities will continuously be sanitized.
TMP customers should also take note of the carmaker’s payment and warranty coverage extension, as well as the additional 30-day grace period for periodic maintenance of all Toyota vehicles. You may view the full advisory below.
We suggest you spread the information to those who may need it as well. And since you’re already here, you can also check out more of our stories on the ongoing COVID-19 crisis here.
