Good news, Volvo T8 plug-in hybrid owners: Volvo Philippines is now offering free home installation of its Wallbox device for convenient charging of your cars during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Wallbox is a charging station that can be mounted near where you park your car whether it’s indoors or outdoors. The components include a circuit breaker, a ground fault circuit interrupter, and cables. The free installation applies to plug-in hybrid owners with residential houses equipped with ample facilities for the proper installation of the T8 socket. Your local dealer will deploy a team to your home—while observing strict health and safety protocols, of course.
Last year, Volvo Philippines introduced its plug-in hybrid lineup which comprises of the Volvo S90, XC60, and XC90. All three are equipped with a 2.0-liter T8 engine paired with a rear electric motor putting out 407hp and 640Nm of torque.
Apart from the free installation of the Wallbox, Volvo Philippines also recently announced its new Online Concierge program to make buying and servicing of Volvo cars safer and convenient during the pandemic.
