Maruti Suzuki, the Indian market unit of Suzuki Motors, unveiled a compact sport-utility vehicle concept it called as the XA Alpha at the New Delhi Auto Expo.
Although Maruti Suzuki revealed very little of the XA Alpha, the carmaker did say that the compact, four-meter long concept "is designed for customers wishing to enter the utility-vehicle segment."
"The Concept XA Alpha is designed for a market of customers with a young urban lifestyle," said Maruti Suzuki managing director and chief executive Shinzo Nakanishi. "This Concept showcases the unified R&D efforts of Suzuki and Maruti which will be a big asset for us in India in the future."
Could this be the how next-generation Suzuki Jimny will look like or is it a totally new model that'll slot between the Jimny and the Grand Vitara? We don't know yet but we certainly hope it'll find its way to the Philippines.
