With BMW celebrating its 30th year in Japan, the German carmaker has decided to mark the occasion by releasing a limited-edition model that is exclusive to the Japanese market.

Known as the BMW 528i 30th Anniversary Edition, the car is obviously based on the 3.0-liter, inline-six 528i sedan. To differentiate it from the regular 5-Series model, BMW Japan threw in the M Sport package that includes the bespoke front and rear bumpers, side skirts and larger alloy wheels. The car's exterior is finished in Deep Sea Blue Metallic while the BMW Individual aluminum window line trim accentuates the car’s greenhouse.

Interior kits given to the limited production 528i are Veneto Beige Dakota leather seats, BMW Individual trim, door sill plates with the "BMW Japan 30th Anniversary" logo and additional extras such as a head-up display and a high-end audio system.

According to BMW Japan, only 200 units of the 528i 30th Anniversary Edition will be offered.
