Atoy Llave of A-Toy Bodykits and Foton Motor Philippines have teamed up to create a custom vehicle out of the Chinese carmaker's 2.8-liter View CRDi van.
According to Llave, the customized View van is perfect for up-and-coming showbiz stars who want the kind of privacy big-name stars have in their customized motor homes but can't afford to buy the bigger, more expensive vehicle platform the vehicles are based on.
For this project, Llave started with a basic 15-seater View van that his experienced crew of customizers stripped down and later spruced up to suit the owner's preference. Stripping down included having to chop off the roof, which has been replaced with a bubble top for increased headroom.
The specific vehicle you see in these photos has two swiveling Captain's chairs, a sofa that's convertible to a bed, a small sink and a small cabinet, ostensibly to hang the star's wardrobes. According to Foton Motor Philippines, the total price for this kind of customization is P1.5 million.
"But like in any of my projects, the price really depends on what the customers want to get done to their vehicles," Llave added.
