For the practical family man who prefers more room yet yearns for the sexy curves of the Volvo S60, the Viking Cars, exclusive distributor of the Swedish car brand in the Philippines, offers the perfect alternative: the all-new V60.

Volvo is packaging the V60 as a sport wagon instead of a traditional estate to such an extent that if a customer wants more cargo space, Volvo recommends that he or she picks the XC70 instead. That's not to say that the V60's load area is inadequate. Volvo has designed the V60 for maximum utilization of each available millimeter starting with the 1095mm-wide tailgate. If more space is needed, the V60 has a 40/20/40-split rear seat and a fold-flat front passenger seat, making it possible to "combine passengers and load in a remarkably flexible way."

Powering the V60 is turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four mill that churns out 240hp and 320Nm of torque. Reach the Volvo V60's optimum performance via its six-speed Powershift transmission.
