A Top Gear Philippines reader sent us a bunch of photos from his quick trip to Tacloban this weekend to check on the extent of destruction left behind by super typhoon Yolanda.
\"Just got home from Tacloban, and I took these photos along the way,\" he told us. \"I\'m glad my family is safe. Unfortunately, the gas stations were simply wiped out. It was a mess. People were walking; there were no gas stations open.\"
The photo-sender also added that he \"saw dead people by the truckload.\"
These photos show not just damaged gasoline stations but also ruined car showrooms as well as vehicles flicked like peanuts by the strong winds.
Let\'s continue extending help to our countrymen in places struck by this latest calamity.
