Has lockdown turned your work schedule and sleeping hours completely upside down? Yep, same. But here’s some small consolation, if you’re prone to late-night cravings that have gone unheeded these past few months: GrabFood will be back on 24/7 operations in the metro beginning tomorrow, September 16.
“GrabFood will resume [its] 24-hour operations across Metro Manila starting 16 September 2020,” the company said in a statement. “As we update our service hours for GrabFood, we remain committed to continuously provide access to daily essentials to our kababayans staying at home, while supporting the many driver-partners and partner stores on our platform.”
Here’s the initial list of establishments that will be available for 24-hour deliveries via the GrabFood platform—not extensive, but definitely better than nothing.
For those planning to order some booze to go with their late-night shawarma or wings, however, Grab Philippines stressed that it “will be observing local government’s curfew policies, and will not be delivering liquor beyond curfew hours.” Best get that earlier in the day—and you don’t even have to drive out to buy drinks.
Just be sure to observe the minimum health standards when accepting deliveries: Put on your face mask, opt for contactless payment if possible, and always wash your hands before digging in. Happy midnight snacking, everyone.
