Traveling up North anytime soon? Then you're going to want to plan accordingly, because the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) Corporation has announced lane closures and road works along both NLEX and the Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX) .
On Facebook, the company shared a list of stretches along the two busy expressways that will be affected by maintenance, bridge retrofitting, and drainage enhancement operations from the end of July until early August. For motorists taking the two expressways, take note of the following areas, lane closures and dates:

*Portions before Mindanao Toll Plaza, middle lane (July 29 to August 4)
*Portions of Meycauayan Interchange, Southbound entry and exit ramp (July 29 to August 4)
*Portions of Marilao Interchange, Northbound and Southbound entry and exit ramp (July 29 to August 4)
*Portions of Bocaue Interchange, Southbound entry and exit ramp (July 29 to August 4)
*Portions of Santa Rita interchange, Northbound and Southbound entry and exit ramp July 29 to August 4)
*Santa Rita Northbound and Southbound, middle lane (July 29 to August 4)
*San Simon Northbound and Southbound, innermost lane (July 29 to August 3)
*Candaba Viaduct Southbound, outermost lane (July 29 to August 4)
