Well, it's that time of year again. The holiday traffic nightmare is beginning to ramp up, and if you're planning to head to the airport for a little rest and relaxation out of town, you better plan accordingly.
If you can't find someone to drop you off at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA), or if you're hesitant to shell out a small fortune to book a ride-hailing service, you're in luck. UBE Express P2P buses are making the busy airport more accessible to commuters than ever before, and the service has just opened a new route from Robinsons Galleria.
This should be a godsend to those planning to make their way to NAIA from the Ortigas area. The air-conditioned P2P buses are equipped with CCTV cameras, GPS tracking devices, low-floor entries for PWDs, and a free WiFi connection. They comply with Euro 5 emissions standards, too, so they're as clean as they are convenient.
The Robinsons Galleria-NAIA P2P buses are open to serve from 6am to 9pm, and the fare is P70. The bus route is already in operation. Below is the trip schedule courtesy of the Department of Transportation (DOTr):
You can check out the DOTr's announcement in the Facebook post below. Considering how bad traffic is becoming, and how difficult and expensive it's become to book a Grab ride these days, this is a very viable option. Hopefully the service is able to add more routes soon.
