Heavy traffic and road closures aside, here’s some good motoring-related news regarding the 2019 Southeast Asian Games: For those who wish to watch this year’s opening ceremonies, the Land Transportation and Franchising Regulatory Board (LTFRB) will be offering point-to-point (P2P) bus services to ferry spectators to the Philippine Arena on November 30, 2019.

The LTFRB has made an official announcement on Facebook. Check it out below:

There will be two pickup locations in Metro Manila—Trinoma in the north, and the Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange in the south. There wasn’t any specific schedule of trips given out, but the agency announced that the first trip going to the venue will depart at 2pm. Do take note that these rides aren’t free—passengers coming from the north will be charged P100, while those from the south will have to pay P150.

The official LTFRB announcement makes no mention of P2P services from the Philippine Arena to Trinoma and PITX after the opening ceremonies, either, so we’ve tried reaching out to the LTFRB regarding this. Unfortunately, we have yet to receive a reply as of this writing. Once we do receive confirmation, we’ll give you guys another update, so watch this space.
