1) Right-of-way for NLEX Harbor Link 10 now 100%

This development brings the agency one step closer toward completing the final 5.45km segment of the elevated expressway.”
2) Work-from-home bill one step closer to becoming law
If the work-from-home bill is enacted into law, the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) will provide guidelines and ensure that its “fair treatment” provisions are met. These include the right to rest periods, access to training and career-development opportunities, and equivalent workload and performance standards.
3) P1 bus fare hike gets go signal from LTFRB
“Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) chairman Martin Delgra III explained that the P1 increase applies to the first 5km of travel. After that, he says, commuters will be charged 15 centavos for every succeeding kilometer.”
4) Minimum jeepney fare raised from P8 to P10
The LTFRB has granted a petition to increase the minimum jeepney fare by P2. The provisional fare increase of P1 granted on July 6, 2018, has been made permanent and the base fare is now P10 from the original fare of P8.
5) DOTr, LTO finally release guidelines for 4x4 modifications
If an owner wishes to modify his or her vehicle, the DOTr says he or she will be permitted provided “a Certificate of Road Safety from the manufacturer can be presented by the owner” to prove such changes will not compromise safety.
6) A Parking Space Regulation Act of 2018 has been filed
“Owners of malls, hotels, and other similar businesses caught violating the Parking Space Regulation Act of 2018 must pay a P100,000 fine. Chump change, you say? Well, that’s P100,000 per customer charged with an overpriced parking fee. What’s more, there's a possibility that they’ll have their license to operate revoked, too.”
7) Senate currently working on a 'Proof-of-Parking Space Act'
“Under the Proof-of-Parking Space Act, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) and local government units will conduct ‘frequent ocular inspections of major and minor thoroughfares across the National Capital Region.’ The agency will also be tasked with removing illegally parked cars, and punishing motorists who refuse to comply.”
8) Duterte to suspend oil excise tax set for next year
“Under the TRAIN law, an additional P2 per liter is scheduled to be added to fuel prices next year. With oil prices soaring across the globe (you can read more on that here), the suspension of the scheduled increase will surely ease the woes of car owners.”
