Here's the roadwork schedule this week for NLEX and SCTEX

Northerners and those headed to the northern parts of Luzon this week, take note: The North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) Corporation has already released its roadwork schedule and lane closures on NLEX and the Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX), for the period of October 1 to 7, 2018.

The scheduled roadwork includes regular maintenance and improvements, bridge repair, and drainage enhancement along sections of the two expressways. Take note that for the entire week, there will be drainage enhancement on a portion of the Balintawak southbound ramp going to EDSA, from 10pm to 4am.

Here are the specific dates and affected areas, so you can plan your trips accordingly—we've got a brand-new month ahead of us, and nobody wants their stress levels to be spiking early on in October:


*October 1 to 7: Portions of Valenzuela, northbound and southbound, innermost lanes (maintenance)

*October 1 to 6: Portions of Bocaue, southbound, middle lane (maintenance)

*October 1 and 3: Portions of Dau, northbound and southbound, middle lanes (maintenance)

*October 2 to 3: Portions of Angeles, southbound, middle lane (maintenance)

*October 1 to 7: Portions between San Simon and San Fernando, northbound and southbound, innermost lanes (maintenance)

*October 5: Portions of Angeles, northbound and southbound, innermost and middle lanes (maintenance)

*October 1 to 2: San Rafael overpass, Mexico, southbound, middle lane (bridge repair)

*October 3 to 5: San Rafael overpass, Mexico, southbound, innermost lane (bridge repair)

*October 1 to 7: Portion of Meycauayan, southbound, outermost lane (drainage enhancement)

*October 1 to 7: Portion of Meycauayan, northbound, outermost lane (drainage enhancement)


*October 1 to 7 (10pm to 4am): Portion of Balintawak ramp, southbound going to EDSA (drainage enhancement)


*October 1 to 6: Portions between Dinalupihan and Floridablanca, Subic direction, middle lane (maintenance)

*October 1 to 6: Portions of Mabiga Interchange, northbound exit and southbound entry ramps (maintenance)

*October 1 to 6: Portions between Porac and Concepcion, Tarlac and Subic directions, middle lanes
