Jaguar Cars Inc. and LRPhils Motors Inc. have moved to a bigger and better showroom at the Bonifacio Global City in Taguig as proof of the group's continuing commitment to invest in the future of the country's automotive industry.

"We have to move to a bigger facility due to the increasing number of the brands. Making this significant decision is fundamentally driven by space, and we are lucky to have the chance to have an area which gives us the visibility and prominence for the brands," said Wellington Soong, top honcho at Jaguar and LRPhils. "This move will only signify a greater commitment to our clients and like what I have always said, when we close a sale, it is not the end of a transaction; instead, it signals the start of a long-term relationship."

Known as the Jaguar | Land Rover | Range Rover Lifestyle and Activity Centre, the showroom is located at the corner of 32nd Street and 4th Avenue in Crescent Park West at the Bonifacio Global City in Taguig City. Strategically positioned at the heart of Bonifacio Global City, the facility is one of the largest showrooms of any of the three British brands in the Asia Pacific Region.

According to Soong, the old showroom along Sen. Gil Puyat Avenue in Makati City has outlived its usefulness, prompting the need to relocate to a bigger venue that not only could accommodate the Jaguar, Land Rover and Range Rover brands but other brands that the towering and jovial Fil-Chinese businessman has either recently introduced or will introduce to the Philippine market. Soong added, though, that he still owns the place where the showroom once was and still maintains some of the company's back-end operations there.

"I've owned that space for more than 20 years so I can't just leave and abandon it," shared Soong. "The new facility will eventually house all of the car brands we carry. Besides Jaguar, Land Rover and Range Rover, we also have Maserati and by October, we'll formally launch the Ferrari showroom once the stocks arrive."

A source close to Soong revealed that another British luxury carmaker might also join his already impressive line-up of car brands. Care to guess what brand it is? All we can say is that its logo looks like a winged letter in the alphabet.
