Cars are often overworked during the summer season as their engines often work overtime with the long drives to far-flung destinations. And since engine oil keeps the moving parts of a car's engine lubricated--preventing them from grinding against each other which could lead to costly repairs in the long run--Nissan Motor Philippines (NMPI) is offering an oil change package for as low as P1,188.
"As humans need to regularly bathe to keep ourselves clean, so does our motor oil," said Andy Liao, NMPI's assistant vice president for after-sales and parts. "The value of oil change cannot be understated--it is the most important maintenance item to maximize an engine's performance and extend its lifespan. Otherwise, you might incur more damage to your engine, which will require additional repairs that translate to more expenses and more hassle."
NMPI's oil change package covers the Teana, the Sentra, the X-Trail, the Grand Livina and other NMPI-sold models. It also includes the mineral oil for the vehicle and the oil filter. Customers who will set an appointment to avail of the package will also receive a 30-point checkup of their vehicles for free. For additional service jobs recommended by the dealership's service advisers, customers who avail of the promo will be entitled to a 15-percent discount on parts and labor, valid within one month after the oil change and oil filter service.
"Some motorists think that it is more affordable to maintain and repair their vehicles themselves, or take their cars to a three-star shop," Liao added. "However, less expensive does not always mean best value for money. At every Nissan dealer, we put a premium on exceeding customer's needs and expectations."
NMPI's oil change package promo runs until May 31, 2012.
