No roadblocks on All Saints' Day weekend - DPWH

Here's hoping for clear roads ahead
The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) gave assurance national roads are well-maintained and will be free from obstruction during the long weekend when the public is expected to travel to various destinations in time for All Saints' and Souls' Days.

DPWH Secretary Hermogenes Ebdane Jr. said the agency will also offer a  motorist assistance program from 6 a.m. of October 29 to 12 noon of November 3.

Ebdane said he has also instructed all DPWH regional offices' composite teams to submit a traffic report to the DPWH Bureau of Maintenance Office every six hours to help monitor the traffic situation during the holidays.

DPWH will also install warning signs and provide traffic advisories to help ensure a smoother ride to cemeteries.
