MotoGP, the preeminent motorcycle racing series in the world, is kicking off its 2014 season on Sunday, March 23, in Qatar. To be unveiled then is the new BMW M4 as the series' official safety car.
The following BMW M Performance parts/components ensure that the M4 will be more than capable of heading a field of ultra-fast motorcycles: titanium exhaust system with carbon finishers (to be used for the first time); black front grille; front splitter with blade; rear diffuser; carbon rear spoiler; carbon mirror caps; side skirts; steering wheel with race display at 12 o'clock; stainless-steel pedals and corresponding stainless-steel footrests; and foot mats.
The M4 safety car also has a hood motorsport lock; Recaro racing seats; Schroth belts; LED lights on the front apron; LED lights on the roof; and, of course, the striking BMW M livery as you see here.
Safe to say Valentino Rossi will be pretty familiar with the M4's butt this year.
