NASCAR Euro Series to hold Asian V8 SpeedChallenge in PH

If everything goes as planned, the NASCAR Euro Series, the series in which Filipino racer Enzo Pastor currently competes, will hold the Asian V8 SpeedChallenge in February 2014 at the Clark International Speedway.

\"In preparation for the SpeedChallenge, NASCAR Euro Series CEO Jerome Galpin expects that we upgrade our racetrack facilities and safety features which should be completed as scheduled,\" said Enzo\'s father, Tom Pastor. \"The owners of the Clark International Speedway are doing their best to get ready for the Fédération Internationale de l\'Automobile inspection.\"

According to Enzo, they\'re currently talking to both local and international drivers--like Tyson Sy and those from the Australian V8 Supercar series--to join the Asian V8 SpeedChallenge.

\"With a full grid, it should be an exciting race,\" the younger Pastor added.
