Looking to witness some racing action this weekend? Then check this out: The Toyota Vios Racing Festival continues tomorrow, August 31, at the Clark International Speedway.
Last June, we saw Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) kick off the first leg of the Vios Circuit Championship. Now, the second leg of the championship is on its way, and event attendees will yet again be able to witness celebrity drivers including Gretchen Ho, Chie Filomeno, Fabio Ide, Troy Montero, Aubrey Miles, Daniel Matsunaga, and Gerald Anderson get behind the wheel of Vios racecars and put their skills to the test.
The next leg of the Autocross Challenge also resumes tomorrow. And as an added bonus, TMP has also announced that the all-new Supra will make its return to the racetrack during the festivities and will participate as the official pace car of all circuit races. Gates open at 9am, and admission—just like before—is absolutely free. Shuttle services will also be available to the public, with the pick-up point set at SM City Clark.
This year’s racing festival is held in cooperation with Bridgestone and official fuel partner Petron, with the support of Motul, Rota, and Toyota Racing Development, as well as other sponsors including Brembo, Denso, AVT, 3M, OMP, and Tuason Racing.
You can also catch the official livestream of the event via TMP’s Facebook page in case you won’t make it. But if you do, then we’ll see you guys there!
