BMW and Gran Turismo game developer Polyphony Digital will make available for players of Gran Turismo 6 the M4 Safety Car "as a free update in late November."
On display at the ongoing 2014 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show as a demonstration vehicle for BMW M Performance parts, the M4 Safety Car started out as a series-production M4 and features a custom body wrap by 3M in BMW Motorsport's theme colors. The German carmaker then gave it a full complement of M Performance Parts for the M4, which consist of a carbon-fiber splitter system, side splitters, carbon-fiber mirror caps, carbon-fiber rear spoiler, carbon-fiber rear diffuser, black BMW kidney grille, black side gills, and titanium exhaust system with carbon-fiber exhaust tips.
Completing the package are the LED grille-mounted flashers and the LED rooftop light bar.
