It has been announced that the global release date for Gran Turismo 6 is December 6, but the Japanese market will understandably get it a day earlier, on December 5. And because the date is getting closer, Polyphony Digital, the game\'s developer, used the 43rd Tokyo Motor Show to let fans--specifically Japanese fans, that is--sample the popular driving-simulation video game for PlayStation.

A sleek-looking video arcade featuring driving rigs was set up at the west wing of Tokyo Big Sight, the motor show\'s venue. Those who wanted to play only had to line up and wait for their turn. If one was a hardcore Gran Turismo gamer, he/she could opt to hang out at the arcade all day (which we didn\'t do, promise).
